COVID-19 Policies

Your health and safety are our top priority. In accordance with the Province of Ontario and Ministry of Health’s Framework to minimize the risk of COVID-19, we are taking the following measures to minimize the risk of COVID-19 and keep you safe during your treatment:

  • Risk screening for all clients: You will be required to complete a mandatory COVID-19 screening prior to your appointment. This will be sent 2-4 hours before your appointment via email. Additional screening questions will be asked prior to beginning treatment.

  • All clients are required to wear a mask for the duration of their appointment.

  • Your therapist will be wearing a surgical mask for the duration of your appointment.

  • Clients are asked to please arrive no more than 5 minutes before their appointment.

  • Clients must use the hand sanitizer provided outside of the treatment room prior to entering.

  • Clients are to refrain from waiting in the lobby/reception area and to please refrain from using the washroom unless necessary.

  • We are asking clients to attend their appointment alone, unless they require assistance or are a bringing their child for their appointment.

  • Appointments will be scheduled with 30 minutes between clients to allow for completion of all cleaning and disinfecting protocols and to minimize interactions between clients.

  • Signage for COVID-19 prevention, infection control and hand hygiene will be posted throughout the facility.

  • Your physiotherapist will be wearing separate, clean clothing while in the clinic and may wear goggles and/or additional protective clothing as needed.

  • The clinic will be following rigorous cleaning and disinfecting protocols. All surfaces and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected before and after every client, according to current required standards.

  • Virtual appointments are available as an alternative to in-person treatment.

  • Only contactless payment will be accepted. This is easy to set up through our online booking software.

Due to the current risk of COVID-19, all clients who are sick, or experiencing symptoms such as fever, trouble breathing, coughing are to contact their therapist and reschedule their appointment. During this time, we will be waiving our customary fees for late cancellations and rescheduling in under these circumstances.
